Tamarack

Tamarack Website

We recently began working with Tamarack to create an extensive website that attracts both local customers and vendors of Raleigh County and surrounding areas and visitors to the state who are passing through. Through a new website and working closely with individuals at Tamarack we were able to bring on a new never-before-seen face to the online presence of Tamarack WV.

What is Tamarack?

Tamarack truly is the Best of West Virginia boasting a regional showcase of WV made Arts & Crafts, special events, craft demonstrations, a Fine Art gallery, a Theater, and a food court featuring treats created by their master chefs.

Matching the Aesthetic

Through countless visits to Tamarack ourselves we hope to have created a strong and recognizable aesthetic unlike any other in the area. After all, Tamarack is very recognizable itself from the architecture of the building, the stellar stained-glass doors at the entrance to the gallery, and the employees who make everything mesh together into a beautifully unique establishment here in Appalachia. Through our work on the new website we sought to compliment these features and showcase the Appalachians and artisans that make Tamarack what it is today – the best of West Virginia.

The final design and marketing implementation is one that we are very proud of. If you have a project or business that you think we could help with, please contact hello@raveka.com.

WV Association of School Nurses

West Virginia Association of School Nurses Website

We worked with one of the West Virginia Association of School Nurses on a fresh mobile-friendly website to increase their rank, viewership, and members.

Design & Modernization

We sought out to provide WVASN with a lightning-fast website that shows the best side of their business – the nurses! By building their website on our secure servers and designing a beautiful landing page showing the members of the community we are able to entice viewers to join their organization.

The final outcome is a project that we are very proud of and happy to support our local nurses that keep children safe. If you have a project that you think we could help with, please contact hello@raveka.com.

Saja Montague

Saja Montague Website

We worked with Saja Montague to launch a new website focusing on her beautiful photography and herself as an artist. Through here series “baring” and “underneath” she is able to capture humans in their natural state.

Look & Feel

Before we started building Saja’s website we knew that we wanted to use large, beautiful imagery on every page that also translated to mobile devices very well. Through many iterations of the design, we finally landed on something that fit her style and also made her work front and center in the design.

The final outcome is a project that we are proud exists on the internet for all to see. If you have a project that you think we could help with, please contact hello@raveka.com.

Beckley Rocks

Beckley Rocks Website

We came across several Instagram pages where people paint rocks in their community then hide them for others to find. It’s kind of like a treasure hunt for miniature paintings. We thought the idea was so cool we got together, spit-balled some ideas, and created our very own rocks Beckley Rocks website and Instagram for Raleigh County and surrounding areas. There’s nothing like finding a little treasure when you’re out and about!

Since taking over the Facebook group we have grown Beckley Rocks to over 5,000 members and growing daily. It’s a great way for our community to get together and do something fun and creative with each other. You never know when a rock you painted will be found and brighten someone’s day!

Website, Instagram, & Branding

Painting rocks is a fun activity for people of all ages so we wanted to appeal to the playful aspect of it with our branding for the group.

We had a blast creating and working on this project and are happy with the result. If you have a project that you think we could help with, please contact hello@raveka.com.

Chocolate Moose

Chocolate Moose Website

We worked with one of the most popular businesses in Beckley, West Virginia named chocolatemoosewv.com on a brand new website that showcases all of the fun and exciting things happening at their venue. Rock climbing, miniature golf, and a cup of coffee are only a few of the things this hidden gem offers.

The Chocolate Moose, formerly known to many as The Little Brick House, offers a thrilling day for any adventurer, or a relaxing day for someone looking for a place to study, read a book, or play board games with friends. Once a small shop with knickknacks, candles, and beanie babies has transformed into a place anyone, of any age, can hang out together.

Look & Feel

Many people still thought of and referred to The Chocolate Moose as The Little Brick House, with our redesign we sought to change that. From the moment you visit the website, we show off how the business has grown from a small shop into a place with several activities for all ages. We used bright shades of orange, green, and blue that mimic the colors found on the miniature golf balls. We also used a dark brown color that screams “coffee!” to complement the other brighter colors of the design. Through the combination of playful typography and colors, we hope to have built something that appeals to all ages.

Beyond the color palette, we wanted to show off what the business has going on through social live feeds showing every corner of the business. We did this by taking the Mountain State Miniature Golf, Outside In Climbing Gym, and The Chocolate Moose Facebook feeds into one easy to browse place. There’s always something new going on at The Chocolate Moose!

The final outcome is a project that we had a blast creating and we’re very proud of the result. If you have a project that you think we could help with, please contact hello@raveka.com.
